Hydrostatic guide shoe
Properties:
- 3 variants HS33, HS50 and HS70
- Special guide shoes for vertical axes
- Special guide shoes for the use of grinding oils
- Large pocket area
- without sealing, friction and wear
- with flow control and pressure measurement
- Pressure sensors 0-10 V or in the meantime with I/O link possible
- requires constant pressure at the inlet
- Laser engraving for optical improvement

2 Types of slides with guide shoes
Symmetrical design – narrow slides:
- Large distance between the side pockets
- for slides from 420 x 420 mm (50 x 100)
- For cast iron or steel guideways
- Can be used with low heat input
Asymmetrical design – wide slides / granite:
- 100 mm distance between the side pockets
- For slide width > 500 mm and high heating of the components
- Also for granite or similar materials
Technical data hydrostatic guide shoe 33 x 66 mm (HS33-B)
Technical data hydrostatic guide shoe 50 x 100 mm (HS50-B)
Technical data hydrostatic guide shoe 70 x 140 mm (HS70-B)
- Select the oil pressure according to the max. forces
- Select the oil viscosity according to the maximum speed
- ① Max. force at the theoretical pressure limit is 40 % higher
- ② Gap stiffness at 20 % of F1
- ③ Gap stiffness at 0N lateral force
- The gap stiffness varies greatly with the load. In addition, there is yielding due to deformation of the components and shoes.
- ④ Speed with heating of approx. 10°K
- ⑤ Flow rate at max. 40°C
- The flow rate at 20°C is approx. 35 % of the specified values
