Advantages of the mounting controller

Optimum dynamic conditions are achieved when the line between the PM flow controller and the hydrostatic pockets is very short.

This is why the mounting controller was developed. It is used with hydrostatic lead screws and spindle bearings, for example. However, it can also be used for guides.

These mounting controllers are normally secured to an evenly ground surface of a machine part with hydrostatic pockets in such a way that the central connection of the mounting controller can only be connected to the hydrostatic pocket via a hole that is as small as possible.

The oil supply from the pump to the mounting controller can also be established internally via the mounting surface for the mounting controller (see figure).

Alternatively, the oil supply hole to the mounting controller can also be created externally via the housing (see figure).
